Today, it is getting increasingly difficult for the community to preserve its cultural heritage. That is why we, at the Rozsnyai Collection doing our best to provide you with an exciting social platform of events, giving all of our visitors a sight into old Hungarian traditions and folk art. Let us take you on a journey through the history of our past customs, religious celebrations and gastronomical experiences.

To mention a few…

February: with Valentine’s Day coming we hold a feast celebrating the coming of spring.

March: A fond remembrance of those who passed in our war of independence in 1848-49.

Easter: Celebrated all over the world, Easter is one our most important religious event, where old traditions revive. We hope to bring these customs closer to the young generation of today by holding specialized community workshops free of charge.

April: St. George’s Day is traditionally the time to heard animals and for this occasion we would like to present you with related trades and gastronomical specialties.

June: In past years we joined the Night of Museums, a successful, nationwide series of events offering fascinating programs for the whole family.

September: It is the time of harvest, grape picking and wine making and we hope to make this time even more special and festive with a series of events wrapped around this topic.

October: In the fall we join the Autumn Festival of Museums inviting everyone to drop in for a guided tour or a learning tutorial.
